that our youth are our future and we are committed to helping
you reach your goals!
Our area boasts many talented young entrepreneurs, just like you! We want to keep you here! Our goal is to give you the necessary tools to make your idea a reality, no matter how young you are!
Do you have an idea? We can help! Entrepreneurs come in all shapes and sizes and our programs can assist you at every stage of your business idea. We have developed programs for various ages that will instill an entrepreneurial spirit in our community.
Our programs include In-school presentations to Elementary and Secondary school students, Entrepreneurship Camps, a Business Plan Challenge and a comprehensive Youth Entrepreneurship Program for young adults 18 to 30.
These seminars and presentations cover all topics from marketing to business planning, and also provide you an opportunity to meet and network with other young entrepreneurs and your local business leaders.

This
program is offered to area youth aged 18 to 30 with entrepreneurial
ambition,
funded by the Government of Canada and in partnership with
the Alternative Education Centre.The YEP provides twenty weeks of
in-class training with workshops focusing on The characteristics,
qualities and attitudes of the entrepreneur,
marketing, financials and other important topics.
Entrepreneurs need money - that's no secret. At the Canadian Youth Business Foundation, we provide loans of up to $15,000 to cover the start-up costs of your business. To ease the early stages of your business growth, loan repayments of three or five years are available so that you can stay focused on getting established.

An exciting experience in the business world awaits secondary school students
of the area as they participate in a new competition that lasts three months.
The project covers the regions of the North East. The “Business Plan
Challenge”, a project sponsored by North Claybelt Community Futures
Development Corporation and the Enterprise Centre, and Fednor is a unique
competition during which participants embark on an excursion into the entrepreneurial
world.
This competition offers participants the opportunity to win some wonderful
prizes.
